A little bit about Mike

If you are not a believer and an investor in people, you are probably on the wrong website. If you are read on.
I spent the ten years to 2007 working mainly in sales management for the world's largest pharmaceutical company. The environment was extremely competitive, and the calibre of employee pretty high. Despite this, I achieved success that was frankly astonishing in a very short space of time. Mine were the teams that the majority wanted to be a part of, not just for our success, but also for the way that we achieved it. I was also ranked the number one leader across Europe and Canada from a pool of several thousand.
When I came to analyse what I had done differently, it was all very simple, and came down to the following philosophies.........

           - A leaders greatest assets are integrity and character
        
           - In the right environment, and with appropriate encouragement, most people will shine

           - The best way to get trust, respect and loyalty is to first give them. In fact giving is always the best way of getting

           - Everyone has a combination of strengths and weaknesses. Focus on the strengths and find the real talent

           - People like to feel valued as people, and to feel that what they do makes a difference 

           - Taking time to build relationships with your colleagues is always time well spent 

           - And finally, from one of my workshop headings, 'culture will always have strategy for breakfast'
